Giving Tuesday is a global celebration of generosity and giving.
Your donation to the opera makes it possible for us to:
- Offer sensory workshops for individuals with visual impairments, inviting them to physically explore the set, costume, and props prior to attending an opera performance
- Help thousands of disadvantaged opera lovers and students overcome the financial barrier of attending with complimentary and subsidized tickets in addition to transportation from the region’s primary schools, universities and retirement communities
- Produce the Student Matinee of The Barber of Seville, a full performance for over 2,300 students, many of whom are experiencing opera for the first time
- Present over 40 free performances and programs in the community, including the Rising Stars Concert, Brown Bag Concerts, which are one-hour performances for all ages, and Resident Artist appearances at hospitals and community events throughout the region.
