KATHLEEN D. SCHNEIDER Attorney/ CPA maintains a general law practice in the Regent Square neighborhood in Pittsburgh, where she concentrates on taxation, estate planning/ administration, collaborative family law, adoption, LGBT issues, real estate, and small business start-ups. Before entering private practice, Ms. Schneider was employed as tax counsel by Mellon Bank Corporation, by Deloitte Touche as a tax consultant, and by the Federal Reserve Bank in various capacities. Ms. Schneider earned her B.S.B.A. degree from Duquesne University (1981) and her Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne’s School of Law (1986) and received her CPA license in 1985. Ms. Schneider has served as an Adjunct Professor in Duquesne University’s Graduate School of Business, Masters in Taxation Program and also in Robert Morris University’s MST program. She is a frequent speaker regarding taxation and estate planning. She is a member of the ACBA, PBA, The Women’s Bar Association of Western Pennsylvania, The PICPA, as well as the International Association of Collaborative Professionals. She has served on the ACBA Audit Committee and sits on other ACBA and PBA Committees. She is a past President of the statewide Women’s Business Network (WBN), and has also served on boards of directors of various non-profit organizations.
