PARTENOPE

Music by George Frideric Handel
Original libretto by Silvio Stampiglia • JANUARY 23, 26, 29, 31, 2027

So many suitors!

Three suitors—Arsace, Emilio and Armindo—all vie for the affection of the captivating social butterfly, Partenope. But when Rosmira (Arsace’s jilted lover) arrives disguised as a fourth suitor “Eurimene,” the ante is upped.

What follows is a topsy turvy war of wits, a battle of passions, and perhaps a bare-chested duel for good measure.

This playful, fast-paced Baroque comedy of errors provides more laughs than you can Handel!
