Pittsburgh Opera proudly announces that Karen Roche Galey, M.D., Christopher Pritchard, and Renée Cavalovitch have joined its Board of Directors.
Renée Cavalovitch
Ms. Cavalovitch has served as General Counsel and Board Secretary at Robert Morris University (RMU) since July 2013. She serves as the university’s chief legal officer, providing legal and policy advice to the Board of Trustees, the President, and other senior leaders in a wide variety of areas.
Before joining RMU, Ms. Cavalovitch maintained a diverse practice at K&L Gates LLP, and was Corporate Counsel for H.J. Heinz Company.
She graduated from RMU with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration before earning her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Ms. Cavalovitch previously served on the Boards of Trustees for Baptist Homes and RMU.
Christopher Pritchard
Mr. Pritchard is Vice President and Wealth Management Senior Relationship Manager at PNC Financial Services Group. Areas of specialization include financial planning for executives of Fortune 500 companies, physicians, and affluent individuals and families.
Mr. Pritchard joined PNC in 2009 as part of the PNC acquisition of National City. He had previously served as Senior Vice President for the Ayco Company L.P., a wholly owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs.
Mr. Pritchard holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Siena College and an MBA from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh.
Karen Roche Galey, M.D.
Dr. Roche Galey practiced clinical plastic surgery for 35 years in Pittsburgh prior to becoming a Clinical Science Liaison for PolarityTE, where she is responsible for clinical support of their sales team.
A member of Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium’s Board of Directors, Dr. Roche Galey is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh.
