Gifts of Stock

A gift of appreciated securities can be a tax-savvy way to support Pittsburgh Opera while avoiding capital gains. You could receive full charitable credit for the value of the stock at the time of transfer.

Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs)

You can recommend a gift to Pittsburgh Opera through your donor-advised fund. Simply direct your DAF sponsor to issue a gift to us and let us know so we can thank you properly.

IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions (RMD/QCD)

If you are 70½ or older, you can make a tax-free gift to Pittsburgh Opera directly from your IRA. This qualified charitable distribution can satisfy all or part of your required minimum distribution.
